Terms of Use

All stock is subject to availability. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear at the Site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. Not all items and offers available in store will be available online. Groovy Kids are not responsible for any items that run out of stock or are discontinued by the manufacturer while displayed online. We will endeavour to keep the site updated.

Returns

If an item is damaged or faulty, please notify us within 7 days of receipt by or by ringing 07 33584475. Return the goods by Mail or in person to Groovy Kids 891 Brunswick street, New Farm 4005,  Australia and we will replace or refund any faulty products and pay for the return freight, on receipt and evaluation of the goods by Groovy Kids and the manufacturer. Please include written documentation as to what is wrong with your item.

Exchange

If you want to exchange a product for any reason other than the item being damaged or faulty, you must pay for the freight and handling charges and we must receive the goods back in the original state, with proper tags still attached to the item, unworn and undamaged within 14 days. Please include a copy of your order when returning goods. Alternatively you may exchange goods at any of Groovy Kids stores. If an exchange of the same item cannot be made by us then we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the value of the item which is valid for 3 months, Groovy Kids   reserves the right not to exchanges on sale items. For further information on Product Returns, please refer to Trade Practices Act Guidelines.

Payment Methods

Groovy Kids   accept the following methods of payment methods:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Direct Deposit - For Direct Deposit orders, Groovy Kids will not dispatch your order until payment has been received.
  • Cheques
  • Money orders

For overseas buyers, your credit card will be billed in Australian dollars and converted into the relevant currencies by your financial institution.

We recognize that privacy, whether it is personal or credit card information, is important to our customers. We are committed to maintaining and using this information responsibly.

Information collected The type of information which we collect about you will depend on how you use the facilities offered on the website and which products or services you use.

If you visit the website to browse or download information, the web server will record the date and time of your visit to our site, the pages viewed and the information downloaded. We will only use this information for statistical and for website development purposes.

Any information that you enter on to an online application form (eg. contact details) will only be collected by us if you submit your online application. In other words, if you cancel your application or log out prior to submitting your application, any information which you had entered is automatically deleted.

For example, if you have requested a firm profile or email updates on a particular topic, then provision of these services to you is the only purpose for which the information you have provided will be used.

If you consent, we may email you about an event or new service that we think might be of interest to you. If at any point you no longer wish to receive such emails, you just have to reply and type “remove” in the subject line of your email.

We will not use, sell or disclose your information for any other purpose without your consent unless required or authorised by law.

While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure the security of any information that you transmit to us over the internet and you do so at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is secure on our systems.

You are able to access and update your personal information at any time. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

Please also contact us whenever there is a change to your personal information or as soon as you are aware that the details we have about you are not accurate, complete or up-to-date. We will then take all reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date.

If you have a complaint regarding the way in which your personal information is being handled by us, please contact us in the first instance. If we are unable to reach a satisfactory solution through negotiation, you can request an independent person to investigate the complaint such as the Privacy Commissioner.
